Gate City Brewing Company was founded in 2013 in Roswell, Georgia. The name is rooted in neighboring Atlanta’s historical moniker as the “Gate City of the New South” due to its reputation as a hub for culture, commerce and transportation. The logo—the phoenix rising—is a testament to the grit, perseverance and sheer will of the city and region alike.

1864 american ipa

Their 1864 American IPA pairs an outstanding hop profile with a medium malt body. It’s a truly smooth, approachable beer delivering a flavor that both IPA novices and hopheads alike will enjoy. And, at a venerable 6.3% ABV, it packs just the right amount of punch. Originally named in honor of the year Atlanta began to rebuild after being razed, 1864 also marks our beginning as a brewery.

copperhead american amber

Copperhead is a wonderfully balanced and visually arresting beer. This American amber hybrid pairs a nice malt body with the perfect amount of Northwest hops. It finishes with an amazing copper color and an ABV measuring at 5.2%.  Copperhead modernizes a traditionally West Coast style, making it appealing to a variety of palates. With a crisp, refreshing flavor and smooth finish, Copperhead is a perfect choice for all seasons.
